#21 – Don’t Look Now
When a married couple, played by famous and brilliant actors Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland, travels to Venice, Italy, to recover from the mysterious death of their younger daughter, mysterious things start to happen while they are in Venice.
The couple starts seeing and experiencing mysterious occurrences and death reminders. This all exceeds when the couple meets two elderly sisters who carry the warnings from beyond. This 1973 movie is clearly under the influence of Hitchcock’s work – it is full of occult themes, it explores how grief makes an influence on relationship, and it delivers us with a both chilling and menacing story.
