5. Teach by Simple Words

When you are learning a very difficult concept the first time, just imagine that you need to explain it to a novice with absolutely no background knowledge in this area, what would you say?
The way of thinking directs you to dig deeper and relate the concept with what you have known in order to explain it well to a novice.
This is the skill introduced in the “The Feynman Technique” in the book “Surely You’re Joking, Mr. Feynman!”.
Moreover, it is also suggested not only put the explanation in your head, but write it down or say it aloud because your brain process things differently when you are writing and talking to someone else. It can force you to think in 3 different ways.
