#9 Idi Amin Dada
He was the President of Uganda in the ‘80s and remained known as one of the most vicious rulers ever. Amin was getting through the ranks in the Ugandan Army, becoming the Major General and Military Dictator in 1972. He was known for incredible abuse of human rights, political repression and deportation of Indians from Uganda. Considering that his country was a British colony, it doesn’t come as strange that he also hated Europeans. But Amin didn’t care for nationality or ethnicity as he tortured and killed numerous political opponents. In fact, it is estimated he killed between 100,000 to 500,000 before getting overthrown in 1979.
