#16 – Rosemary’s Baby
The beauty of this beauty of a film is in that it doesn’t show what it needs to show. Everything is in suspension. Rosemary’s Baby is the masterpiece coming from the hand and mind of one of the gratest directors – Roman Polanski.
It tells us the story of a neurotic and paranoid mother who expects a child and bores it, not knowing that her first neighbors are Satanists. The child disappears, but no one believes Rosemary, played by Mia Farrow.
