#23 – The Healing White Lady of Worstead Church, Norfolk, the United Kingdom
In the year of 1975, a couple, Diane and Peter Berthelot visited the Worstead Church, along with their, at that time, 12 years old daughter. Diane sat on one of the church benches and has started to pray. Her husband decided to take a photo of his wife praying. After Diane had finished with praying, Diane and her husband have gone to develop the photos from the church. A friend of theirs was looking at their church photos and shocked both Diane and Peter, and himself – on the photo where Diane was shown praying, a white figure of a woman was sitting behind Diane.
Both Diane and Peter Berthelot felt curious to find out who the lady was and they went once again to the Worstead Church. The couple spoke to Reverend Pettit, who was the vicar of the Worstead Church. Reverend told them a story and the legend about the White Lady. He told that she would frequently appear to the people in church who were praying for their health. At that moment, Diane remembered that she was somewhat ill and had prayed for her health.
